ACEs- Adverse Childhood Experiences – FREE

Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) are stressful events that pose a significant threat to a child (and adult)’s development and can lead to a range of mental and physical health issues as well as behavioral and emotional challenges throughout the course of their lifetime. The training describes the study itself, the science of how your brain development is affected by stress, how your genes are altered due to these experiences, as well as addresses resilience and protective factors to learn how we can have a positive impact to offset or mitigate the negative effects.  It will help you identify ACE and the effect it has on people’s lives, what we all can do to dramatically improve health and resilience for this and future generations, as well as hopefully change the way you perceive people’s behavior.
